The link between our mind and body is incredibly strong, in fact they are inextricably linked and constantly providing feedback to each other. Our thoughts and emotions influence our body, and what is happening in our body, affects our mind. As Mind Body Medicine suggests, this gentle yet dynamic modality works with both the mind and the body. It helps us to understand the connection between our thoughts, behaviours, patterns and beliefs, and our physical symptoms.
Mind Body Medicine is an integrated approach that combines Western techniques and ancient Eastern wisdom, including working closely with the acupuncture system and Traditional Chinese Medicine principles. It draws on a range of complementary therapies including counselling, body therapy, aromatherapy, energetic medicine and nutrition to support and enhance our physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.

Kinesiology supports mind-body connectivity and helps to identify what may be blocking our body’s natural healing abilities. It utilises a non-invasive technique called muscle monitoring to access information from the body, to uncover stress, emotional blockages or imbalances, to increase our self-awareness and to guide what the body needs to come back to balance.

Mind Body Medicine and holistic Kinesiology is suitable for all ages, including children. Sessions are individually tailored to meet your specific needs and can help with a wide range of emotional and physical concerns including fatigue, stress (physical or emotional), anxiety and mental health, immune and nervous system support, physical pain and postural issues, learning difficulties, sleep, hormonal and reproductive issues, digestion, limiting beliefs and much more.

Mind Body Medicine / Kinesiology sessions typically involve a discussion with your practitioner, assessments and working with the body on a massage table. Comfortable clothing such as t-shirts, pants, shorts, activewear, tracksuits etc are suitable and recommended.
